déjeuners au lit matelas de qualité JUMP

Do you relish time spent lazing in bed in the morning? Spend considerable time on transport to work or school? Always in a hurry in the morning? Packed breakfasts are the solution! Save time by preparing them the night before or quickly in the morning and enjoy them on the go.

Overnight Oatmeal

In recent years, preparing  oats the night before has gained huge popularity.  “Overnight oats” are simple and delicious! They require very little preparation and have the advantage of being ready for you to enjoy in the morning. You can follow recipes to start, especially to ensure the right proportion of liquid and grains, but you will quickly feel comfortable developing your own creations. Milks of all kinds, yogurt, fruit, granola, spices, honey or maple syrup – all combinations are delicious!

Sandwiches

Sandwiches require a little more prep, but if you have a bit of time in the morning, , they are nutritious and delicious options! Think about what you would order in a fast food restaurant, and recreate it at home. Bagel with cream cheese, egg and ham sandwich on English muffin, BLT on crusty bread, the options are endless! For breakfast or lunch, you can eat your sandwich on your way to the office or classroom!

Smoothies

On-the-go breakfasts par excellence, smoothies should not be forgotten! Prepare them in just a few minutes in your blender with everything you love: milk, juice, yogurt, fresh or frozen fruit, ice cream, honey, maple syrup, protein powder, nut butter, supplements. You name it! Garnish with granola, nuts, grated coconut or fresh fruit for an extra touch.

If you’re in a great hurry in the morning, you could even prepare your smoothies in advance and freeze them, or buy them prepared that way. The principle is simple: create your smoothie purée without adding too much liquid, then freeze it in small cubes. When morning comes, simply add a liquid of your choice and let the cubes thaw. This usually takes about 20 to 30 minutes. You can also mix them in the blender for a faster result. Quebec-based Evive sells frozen cubed smoothies in several delicious flavours.

Yogurt and its fixings

Very easy to prepare, but still delicious, yogurt is a great on-the-go breakfast option. Add granola, nuts, favourite fruits, and even a hint of peanut butter or almonds to make a complete and satisfying breakfast.

Hard-boiled eggs and other snacks

Don’t forget the endless combinations of possible snacks! Prepare hard-boiled eggs the day before so they’re ready to take away the next morning. Pair with a small yogurt, a piece of cheese, a slice of bread, fresh fruit or a handful of nuts. This complete breakfast will support you long into the day!
