Together we can make this dream a reality.

When working on a custom mattress project for local Canadian and Professional Nature Photographer Patrick Di Fruscia, we became inspired by the goal of his Give Back to Nature foundation. At JUMP, we too believe that we all have a responsibility to protect and preserve the world we live in. This is why we are committed to helping the foundation reach its goal of planting One Million Trees in developing countries and to remove and/or prevent the equivalent of One Million Plastic Bottles from ending up in our lands or oceans. In line with our company’s values of reducing our carbon impact on the environment, we will be planting 5 trees for every mattress and 1 tree for every accessory item purchased. Join the JUMP community in helping rebuild the natural landscapes of the world we call home.

FAQ

HOW WILL THE TREES BE PLANTED?
We are extremely honored to have entered in a partnership with the Canadian owned Give Back to Nature foundation who works hand-in-hand with the world renowned Eden Reforestation Project. Eden is recognized as one of the top nonprofit organizations that plant millions of trees throughout the world. Over the years, they have quickly become the perfect model for environmental restoration and land management. Eden reduces extreme poverty and restores healthy forests by employing local villagers to plant millions of trees every year.
WHAT KIND OF TREES WILL BE PLANTED?
The main goal will always be to reintroduce the native species of trees that belong in the area where the reforestation is taking place. Whether it’s Nepal, Indonesia, Madagascar, Haiti, Kenya, or Mozambique, no invasive or destructive species that can spread and harm the environment will ever be planted.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEFORESTATION?
Each of us shares responsibility. More than half of packaged products on the supermarkets’ shelves we consume daily, all contribute to the deforestation around the world.
WHY ARE THE TREES NOT PLANTED LOCALLY?
Many of the products that we consume today include derivatives which promote deforestation, contributes to climate change, and destroys natural animal habitats. Because these trees are grown in lush tropical regions, it is critical to replant the trees in these regions. By buying products that include these commodities, we greatly contribute to the problem. It’s common sense that if we are one of the main reasons this problem exists, we also find ways to stop the growth of these industries. We can make a huge impact by helping to reforest the impoverished countries we help deforest.

“Give Back to Nature’s first goal will be to help plant One Million Trees in developing countries, thus helping villages and communities rebuild the natural landscapes destroyed by deforestation. I have been working very hard in order to set up this project which I hold very close to my heart. I truly believe that together we can make a difference and leave this world a better place. It is not the work of a single brick that builds kingdoms but more the way they all hold themselves together that makes it possible.”
