However, its durability depends on several factors, primarily its quality and maintenance. When well chosen and well maintained, a mattress is an excellent long-term investment that could take you even beyond 10 years. The opposite is also true; a lower quality mattress that is less well maintained may not survive more than a few years.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How to know if you need a new mattress<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are unmistakable signs that it\u2019s time for you to change mattresses. If your mattress sags toward the center; if it creaks; if the material is damaged or if the springs have shifted, then your mattress is showing signs of wear. However, your body is the best judge of the situation. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are some questions to ask yourself:<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; How do you feel when you wake up? Was it in a different bed than your own?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Do your become numb sometimes during the night?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you answered yes to any of these questions, then consider buying a new mattress.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How to extend the life of a mattress?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Good news: there are tricks to extend the lifes of a mattress. A quality, well suited mattress provides better long-term comfort.
