In December of 1985, Matelas Bonheur opened up its first boutique in Ste-Genevieve, Montreal, Quebec. The store specialized in the sale of mattresses, and bedding accessories and had begun to make a name for itself for its personalized service and unbeatable prices. 30 years later not a single thing has changed, except for the number of stores now totalling 17 locations in and around the greater Montreal area.<\/p>\n

Matelas Bonheur is dedicated to giving its customers exceptional service. All our comfort consultants have gone through months of training in order to make sure they are ready to guide their customers through the vast selection of mattresses. Our comfort consultants are supported by an exceptional staff that continuously scans the market for the latest advancements in mattress, pillows sheets and other sleep products. All prices are verified daily to make sure we are offering the lowest prices in the industry.<\/p>\n

Environmental Responsibility<\/h2>\n

Matelas Bonheur has always had the environment close to its heart, but over the first 15 years of business we simply had no alternative to disposing mattresses. With the business in constant growth and a free removal service we began disposing more and more mattresses. In 2003 we decided take action and set the example in the industry by taking part in the most intensive recycling program around. Now, on every delivery all unusable mattresses, boxsprings, plastic bags and boxes are removed and brought back to a separate storing unit where they are then recycled. Some usable mattresses may be given to charity to someone in need but they must first be inspected and cleaned. At Matelas Bonheur we hope to inspire these values with all our employees and their families.<\/p>\n
